We are Dentists that have your best interests at heart!
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to check out our brand new practice at Queen & Albert Dental. We could bore you with lots of fluffy words about what we do and why we do it; instead, we want you to know that we have no hidden agenda. What you see is what you get! So, if you’d like to learn more about us read our bios below. You may find something that resonates. Till then, here’s a favourite quote we use; “Be strong enough to stand alone, be yourself enough to stand apart, but be wise enough to stand together when the time comes”. That’s us! Queen & Albert Dental; strong individually, yet as a team, we thrive, so you thrive!
P.S. Pssst, we also stay up-to-date with the latest technology and dental methods fulfilled via continued professional development through the ADA. This enables us to give you the best experience and skills each time we consult with you.
Dr Kristina Cain
Dental Surgeon and Facial Injector
Here is the story that made me who I am today. At the age of nine, some significant events unfolded that led me to Queen & Albert; educating people about the importance of dental health and also understanding that compassion and kindness are the keys to life. So what happened? I had my front teeth smashed in and had braces that included headgear. That experience made me feel like the odd one out, that didn’t smile, thus affecting not only my mental health but my social life. However, what I endured had a purpose! Due to what happened, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to Dentistry!
From there, I studied at the University of Queensland and now have 25 years of practised skills under my belt. So, when you visit us, I want you to walk out of Queen & Albert, smiling so wide people will be asking, “Hey, what’s your secret”? We really are nothing like the other blank white-walled practices. Instead, we have consciously created our haven, so you feel relaxed and cared for. Read about our Teeth Whitening, and you’ll understand the Queen & Albert difference.
Dr Nick Sheptooha
Dr Nick is an Honours graduate from the University of Queensland and has seen it all over his 38 years of Dentistry! Born in Brisvegas, he’s a local who loves his job and maintains his knowledge of Dentistry by often upskilling, so he’s at the top of his game and always open to new concepts. In addition to working alongside us at Queen & Albert, Dr Nick has held a distinguished career at his own practice before joining us at the then-named ‘Refresh Dental Spa’. His ethics and well-known prestige in Dentistry have made him a very sought after reputable Dentist and Surgeon. And we are blessed to have Dr Nick with us. Not only is he a man of honour, being the go-to mentor for Dentists alike, but his precision, solution-driven approach, yet gentle and down-to-earth attitude is why everyone loves him.
In his spare time, Dr Nick is an avid golfer, father, and Jazz lover that likes to dabble in a good drop of red wine or scotch. So at your next consultation, ask him about his golf handicap. But regardless of what you do or don’t chat about, Dr Nick is a dedicated Dentist that believes your oral health is your best asset.

But returning home to Australia is when her journey into the dental industry began. Entering dentistry educated her on many things, especially improving her oral health. Regularly, Harmony likes to update her skills professionally and personally, where she looks forward to learning more throughout life, including her latest interest, studying new languages.
While he is studying DENTISTRY at our own University of Queensland , Rami works as a Dental Assistant at QnA Dental.
